How long does it take to break into a new pair of hiking boots?

What are some nice looking women’s hiking sandals?

All the hiking sandals I’ve seen look like men’s shoes and generally look bad. What are some affordable brands? Please include a link with a picture if you can.

Where can I find quality hiking boots in the state of Florida?

Who knows a lot about hiking the Appalachian Trail?

I’d love to hike the Appalachian Trail in a few years, but I have 2 cats I would not want to forget me, and I’ll be a CPA at that time. I’m thinking it’s not at all practical.
